Tim Miller Associates was recently retained by the O’Neil Group, in New Jersey, to prepare the Final Environmental Impact Statement for a large mixed use project on a Brownfield site on the Poughkeepsie waterfront. The site is bisected by the City and Town boundary lines. TMA has been assisting the applicant in pursuing a public/private partnership to fund and construct a 2.5 acre park and esplanade along the Hudson River. This and a number of other measures are intended to minimize environmental impacts and achieve consensus amongst various stakeholders for this new waterfront project.
The Urban Health Center has made application to the City of New York for a 54,000 sf expansion of its facilities on Southern Boulevard in the Bronx. Tim Miller Associates was recently selected to assist UHC and its advisors in responding to a variety of technical comments from the New York City Department of Transportation relating to traffic and parking for the expanded facility.
TMA was instrumental in conducting draft and final Environmental Impact Statements for the Lost Lake Resort in Sullivan County. The project, approved in 2011, consists of some 2600 residential homes, a championship 18 hole golf course and a resort hotel. TMA was recently engaged to help procure wetland permits from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for select aspects of the project.
